The slider sets the band as "Factory" or "Custom." As far as I know, this affects how the frequency is transmitted to the VTX, for example, via Smart Audio. Factory sends R1 to the VTX and Custom sends the specific frequency 5658 to the VTX. Therefore, anything the VTX doesn't directly recognize must always be "Custom". However, in general, you can't assume that the VTX can handle any frequency.

In addition to the description of the frequency settings, here are some useful VTX tables that can be set via Betaflight CLI

Wir benötigen für unsere neuen Modellflugpiloten ein geeignetes Einsteiger Flachenflugmodell für die Hallensaison. Wer kennt etwas gutes, bzw. hat sogar einen Plan dafür

Sonic Modell - AR Wing Classic 900mm
An FPV wing had been on my to-do list for a long time. Since I didn't want to buy all new components to try it out, it made sense to use many components from the 5" drone sector. The AR-Wing from Sonic Modell was the perfect model for this. The flight controller from the drone range can be operated with INAV and offers sufficient UARTS, as well as servo and motor connections. With the 6S 1300mAh battery used, flight times of 10 minutes are easily possible. The maximum speed is around 170 km/h, although the ESC gets very hot at full throttle. I converted the voltage regulator for VTX and CAM on the FC to 6,0V by resizing the feedback resistors and use it as a BEC for the two servos. I cut away the originally intended FPV CAM holder and glued a self-printed CAM adapter into the Action CAM mount. I currently have an HDZero Whoop Lite VTX with an HDZero Micro V2 CAM installed, but this will soon be replaced with a DJI O4 Lite (Flywoo Wide Lense makes the FOV perfect ;-)).
